Extracts high pressure, high temperature, 302°F (150°C) or greater, brine solution from geothermal wells deep within the earth to produce a flash steam supply that drives a steam turbine. Concentrated brine solution and excess condensed steam are returned to the earth via injection wells.

Utilizes moderate temperature, 212°F (100°C) to 302°F (150°C), brine solution from geothermal wells or from the outlet of a flash plant to heat a motive fluid causing it to vaporize and drive a turbine. Cooled brine solution is returned to the earth via injection wells while the motive fluid is condensed and returned to the front of the binary unit.
